She's really affectionate but everytime I pet her she puts her butt in my face, like she'll start by standing on my shoulder and rubbing her face on mine, and then all of a sudden she turns around and bam, butt in the face. Why is she doing this? I just turn her around or put her on the ground, but how do I get her to stop the whole butt thing?

She doesn't know any better, just keep her moving.

She loves you and she has no idea that's offensive to you. It's a "cat" thing. They just turn around a lot when they love you up.

She loves you. Any time an animal puts its rearend towards you (a position which could possibly put it in danger), it usually means that they trust you. Also, cats trust other cats to clean them... You are her other cat and she is offering her butt to you. lol

one of my cats does this all the time. Its kind of like with dogs... in order to get to know one another they sniff eachothers butts. its also a sign of love and trust.... so your cat is bassically saying "I love you sniff my butt"

This is typical cat attitude. The cat is merely telling you what part of it's body you can kiss if you want any kind of cooperation from it.

Suggestion - don't do it. Cats lie and will renege on the deal anyway.

My cat does this all the time. I find if I coo her name and stroke the base of her spine by her tail then she chirps and offers me her head instead.

If she is more than 4 months old and has not been spayed, she's in heat. You should make an appointment to have her spayed in the morning.
