My mother and I need to make an appointment with the vet, but keep putting it off. My domestic short hair male cat is having eye problems. He is 1 year and 8 months and has been having eye problems for at least the last 8 months itself.

During random moments he will "clench" his eyes shut, meow, and rub the perfusly. Then also when he has a very large yawn, he can't open his eyes after. It takes at least 30 seconds for him to open them up again.
I know I need to make an appointment immediately because it is getting worst, but was wondering if anyone had an experience with this.

Never had a cat have anything like that, and I've had hundreds of cats. You really need to figure out a way to go to the vet ASAP!
