My cat licks water off my shower floor after l bath, Anything she`s missing?
everytime l leave the bathrom door open after a shower l catch my cat licking water from the floor (her water bowl is always full n clean), Is it for fun or its something serious?
Don't worry. It's nothing serious. Cat are not big water drinkers. The small amount of water she gets of the shower floor is sufficient. Cats are naturally curious and it's just a different source of water.
Scrounging for water is natural for a cat -- as opposed to a fixed water bowl. The cat, probably, knows no difference between the bowl & the shower floor -- water is water to her.
Cats are funny, they will drink dripping water from the sink, or out of the toilet. Off of the shower floor won't hurt your kitty. It's just a feline thing. Like some of them sleep in the sink, it's just what the cat likes.
its nothing serious you can pre vent it if you want you put the faucet on a small drip and they get clean water
My cat too does that nothing to worry.
