He was neutered last night and this morning he was taken home, well he was howling in the room ( he does this often out of nowhere before he got neutered) so I thought nothing on it, then he got on the bed and was kneeding just like he would do to get comfortable but then he peed on my bed! Why would he do this??

He used the litterbox earlier hes been eating, running around and still acting in heat, he actually squated on it and peed. hes also eager to get outside but i refuse to let him. he is 2 1/2 he came home from staying overnight at the vet, 8am..will it go away or is it concerning?

The same thing happened to me. My cat was 6 months and sprayed for the first time and later that day he got neutered. The day after he sprayed on my bed and my dogs bed. i immediatly called the doctor asking what was up and he said to allow 2 to 3 weeks for all the hormones to leave his system and if he continues to do it afterwords i have to live with his behavioral issue...thanks doc pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

So far he has sprayed at least ten things...1 week left to wait to see if he stops. i hope.

If he's 2 and a half, he's probably been spraying or marking his territory for a while now, right? The spraying was induced by his male hormones. Now that he's been fixed, the spraying will stop, but there are still hormones in his system at the moment. It'll take up to about a week until all the extra hormones disappear and the spraying will stop.

Also, he might still be a little disoriented and groggy from the operation.

And yes, he's probably a little pissed off too... For having his manhood taken away!

It's revenge! He's happy to be home and mad as he-- that you got him fixed. I know, our tom did the same thing. It took me 2 weeks to catch on. I banished him from our bedroom for 3 months. When I finely let him back in I watched him closely for another 2 months but he hasn't done it again. Oh yea, go get some Kids n Pets (walmart has it) follow the directions on the bottle, it'll clean everything from cat urine to wine stains. Good Luck.

We had a male neutered cat that started peeing in the house. He had crystals in his urine and .... This am she is bright eyed and rubbing my ankles just like usual. .... I have got 2 cats and they bought pee on my bed.

The problem is you waited such a long time to get him fixed. You should ask he vet how to handle it.
