My cat has got some liquid coming out of its eye all the tim

My cat has got some liquid coming out of its eye all the time? what is it? and how do i stop it?
will it pass with time?
answer:
With cats, this can be a number of things. Firstly, it can be a dose of feline influenza (cat flu). This would probably pass with time, and your cat should have been vaccinated for it every year. Next, cats sometimes do that when they have had a fright, i.e. an attack by a dog. Also, it could be what another answerer said (allergies). Finally, and perhaps most obviously, it could simply be an eye infection picked up from getting something in its eye. This could pass with time, yes.
Actually what it is 98 percent of the time is actually something called a eye cold . Normally infant kittens get it due to their eyes not being very active. But when a cat goes out in the cold it actually waters and begins to crystallize when in warmth being called a eye cold. Its nothing serious its just eye goobers that need wiped away with a moist toilet. Also keeping a cats eye clean and his fur around it will keep the goobers from happening. The only problem is if u dont wipe them it can seal his eye lid shut temperately. It doesn't always crystallize though so liquid is common...Also it can be a symptom that your cat isn't feeling well so keep him indoors for up to a day and a half if possible.
It could be conjunctivitis, I had kittens that had it, and what i did first i looked up home remedies and found different things to do, you must clean the eyes, i used warm water and put a tea bag in it for a little bit, let the tea water cool, but not cold. use a Cotton ball and dip it in the tea water and drip it over the eye a few times it will loosen the **** so you can wipe it away. but some thing in the tea actually helps reduce the pain and liquid that comes out. then i found out that vet prescribe terramycin for the infection, i went on ebay and ordered it cause that's the only way to get it with out a prescription. i only had to use it a couple times and the eyes were clear and never had problems again. i hope this helps.
My cat has the same and they told me it's just allergies but now i have to wash it's eyes each morning and am going back to the vet cause it could be a clogged tear duct or something easy to take care of and I would hate it to go blind for something I could prevent. Med expense is not an option for not caring for a pet....it should be like a child but most don't feel that way, so ask yourself...if this was my child what expense would I spare. Take it to the vet. A good vet will ask your finances and help anyway.
Probably not. My grandmas cat has the same problem and the vet said its seasonal allergies and we have to by reallly expensive drops for her. I hope its not that but if it starts to become goopy..take her in before they recommend anitbiotics and charge you insane amounts for treatment
If I was you I'd just go to the vet just to make sure things are fine with your kitten :)
