How to get two female cats to get alone XD?
Okay I have been wondering this since the stuff we tried did not work, me and my mom moved with my sister, they added onto there house since they have a big house/yard since my dad died and we have are own rooms, and a sun room now, But they have a cat as well as we do, are cat is older, and there cat is like a year old, still a kitten sorta, I guess you would say, There cat is named molly she is nice and Friendly to people, and the cat I have is named Hazel, First time we tried it we just wanted to see what would happen this was a while back they just wanted to attack one another so we squirted them, with a water bottle, and this was before the rooms, and then my mom keeps her in her room, and lets her out when we put the other cat molly in room and shut the door, that's how we always been doing it, But when they do see or come across each other they just get into the biggest fight ever, and hissing noises and weird stuff, it scares my mom a lot though that's what I don't like, pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
But the thing is will they ever get along? I even tried putting molly in a cage and bringing her in the room with hazel but molly just looked like she wanted to beat up hazel how she was trying to break out the cage, Hazel, Don't really hurt no one it's mostly molly starting stuff, and i know it's all territory stuff But when Hazel is in her room molly is by the door and looking real nice and wanting to play kinda of look until they see each other I don't get cats will they ever get along?
There are sprays available that contain a certain "pheromone" that makes the cats "like" each other or other people or DOGS, even. Well, it's not like magic, but it's sort of like "kitty cologne" that cats react positively to. You can find these in a good pet supply store, or online. Use as directed, and it may just help them "over the hump" in getting comfortable with others.
I currently have the pheromone collar on my one cat who is being aggressive towards one of my other cats. It is certainly calming her down, and she keeps licking it! She LOVES it almost like it's catnip. She's had only a couple nasty incidents so far, and the collar is supposed to last 30 days. I am hoping that the collar will help to the point that after the 30 days, the tensions will have eased between them enough for them to get along without any collar. But it IS having an effect on her!
