How long does my cat need to wear a cone for after spay surgery?
Hi, my cat got spayed January 7th and was wondering when her cone can come off?
Its on so she doesn't lick/bite at the cut.
It is healing really well, and looks good.

Usually, stitches come out after 10 days, and it is safe to remove the collar at this time.
Your vet should have explained this to you when you picked her up.
In the meantime, you can take the collar off for short periods of time and see how she goes with it. Some cats will completely ignore the wound, while others will want to tear out the stitches the second they get a chance. If your cat begins to show interest in the area you should put the collar back on her.
