How can i convince my parents into adopting cat?
When i was in 3rd grade, we got a kitten. We loved him alot, but last year in October, he got cancer and we had to put him to sleep. We all really missed and were a little touchy on the subject. But now me and my siblings want a new cat, not to replace him, we just like cats. Heres the thing though, we already have 2 dogs, a mouse, and a guinea pig. Its not that we'll neglect any of them.We my cat was alive we took care of them all well. But i don't know if my parents want another cat How could i convince them in to adopting one?
Just try.
Maybe there is a certain kind of cat one of your parents has always wanted, or they had as a childhood pet that they may have talked about before, if so id do some research, i just convinced my parents into a cat a few months ago pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

here is what i did...
My mom loves siamese and calico cats but has never had one, so i went searching around shelter sites, neighborhoods high with strays, rescues etc. to find the cutest/neediest siamese or calico cat i could find, i ended up finding a siamese kitten that was an outdoor pet owned buy an old widowed woman, the woman said she couldnt really take care of him and winter was coming up so i used the excuse to my mom that he was going to freeze to death if we didnt do something. At first my mom said no until i bundled him up in a blanket and brought him home and showed her, then she was suckored into his big blue eyes and well thats how i got my cat. Go for what you think will intrest your parents
is there a certain breed they love, will they fall for a kitties sappy story, would they prefer a kitten or a cat? playful or relaxed? they most likely just dont want to get attatched to another animal, but you need to break that and get them attatched to one, itll probably take time like it did for me but itll be worth it

Some people have their own things.
Some peoples 'things' are into drugs
Some into alcohol
Some have problems way worse
But I think that my thing would be a much more appreciated 'thing'
and then take it on from there.
Remember to do sad puppy eyes to enhance the talk.

Personal experience
ur parents may have good reason. Pets are very expensive to take care of if they get sick... also if ur parents are caring people, they may just not want 2 set themselves of the kids up for more grief, sadness not to mention vet bills..... please honor their wishes at least for a while.... Believe it or not adults think of the whole picture with lots of stuff that may seem boring 2 u ... they have feelings 2... I know 4 myself having just lost beloved cats from sickness and old age I just can not think of taking in another one right now. Maybe at some point we will feel different.... U may (In a reasonable NOT whining or pushy tone) (not saying u would do such a thing LOL :0) ) simply ask them why they do not want to have another cat at this time.... see what they say... but in any case do not push the issue... save ur emotion and strength for studying so u can get a good education and well paying job(career) and when u r grown u can afford to have pets of ur choosing... A good goal... Good luck and God bless u and ur family for being kind 2 animals, that is really special...

Before you get a cat you need to get your guinea pig and mouse a buddy. Mice are social animals and guinea pigs are herd animals and will get depressed, bored and lonely if not in pairs.
