How can I train my half grown cat to not attack my ferret and everything else in her path?
I've had this cat for about 2 months now, she is about 7 months old, and very energetic. My problem is though is that she pretty much just wants to terrorize everything, Im assuming this is a normal thing but how do I get her out of it? She has plenty of things to play with and Im home all day long so its not like she's alone all the time, but she runs around and knocks things off tables, tries to claw up everything except for the things she's allowed to claw, and what mainly concerns me is she attacks our ferret. We got her as a kitten specifically because we wanted to get her used to a ferret and for her to see that its not food, but while she doesn't think of her as food anymore she's more of a toy now and will even whap the ferret with her paw while we are holding the two of them. How do I train her out of this?
Spray it w/water.
Put both there food bowls down and feed them at the same time ,the kittens only playing but the ferret will not take kindly to being disturbed when it's feeding once they have got the pecking order sorted they should get on alright I used to feed a cat ,ferret and a springer all at the same time ,
