When Your doing something such as Watching tv or reading does your Cat just sit and stare at you for what seems sometimes like an hour without taking their gaze away from you

They have just been fed so they are not hungry, they have just been played with so they are not bored

Does it get to the point that you cant concentrate on what your doing because you thinking God what are you staring at lol

What do you think is going through their mind as they stare, are they asking for something which i dont think so because if he wants something he normally meows

So does your cat do this or am i alone with a weird cat lol, sometimes its creepy lol

Hahahah this made me laugh. I'm going to be honest, neither of my cats do that. I mean they stare sometimes but only for a couple of minutes. Sorry dude, your kitty is a strange one.. Haha

Your cat is trying to exercise mind control over you because it thinks it will make for an easier life for itself. Resist or you will become a slave to your cat's every whim.

I have 4 cats who do it they are staring at you because its their way of saying "look I'm boss cocky I own you and I can stare at you knowing you can do nothing" they do it as intimidation to see who looks away first, the saying you don't own a cat, a cat owns you is true they do if you ignore them they will stop eventually

You see in the wild cats use a lot of body language to express what they are feeling, direct eye contact is seen as being aggressive & if 2 cats stare at each other they are normally defending their territory & saying to the other cat, I mean business - if you come near me I could hurt you lol

Normally if you stare back at the cat, it should look away - meaning I dont want any trouble, im submissive to you (as your its master)...

Also if you look at a cat & blink slowly this is a sign of friendship to a cat, & so it could stop them from staring at you

hmm they only really stare at me when he want in. but even then its not for long. oh and when they want breakfast in the morning, but then again i don't know how long they are staring at me cause im asleep.
