Cat is acting weird, help please?
My 4 month old kitten started acting weird one day. We brought him to a new home, but he opened up right away. Sleeping with us in bed, purring all the time, and just loving all the attention. Now he's trying to hide everywhere, hissing when my boyfriend comes up to him, just laying in the little sometimes with a terrifed look on his face. Sometimes he even shakes. We put him in another room and he acted perfectly fine there. He only seems to hiss and get mad at my boyfriend, even though nothing bad has ever happened to him. Anyone know what this could be? The kitten used to love when my boyfriend held him, kissed him, and gave him attention, but now he just cowards away and hisses.
maybe he kicked cat across room
maybe something happened when you wernt around, or your home could be haunted.. you never know.
This same thing happened with my cuz's chihuahua pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
I was there when i was first brought home and loved me for 2 yrs.
then my cuz got sick and since then it has hated me.
Literally bites my jeans, boots, tries to bite my fingers off.
I cant even get near my cuz anymore without him barking and trying to bite me.
I think its a protection sort of thing.
has anything happened btwn u and ur bf that ur kitten might be mad about??
IF your bf has a dog the cat may be starting to notice the smell on your bf. Just learned this in class today, that cats have this smell that when we grab them the smell gets on us. that's why when we go to someone else's house and they have cats, those cats are immediately okay with you. When they smell the scent of a dog they don't like it and it may be why your kitten is acting weird around your bf. Another thing you could do is have your bf stand at the door, have your kitten adjust to him slowly. And everytime your kitten doesn't hiss or run away praise him and it might help.

You might want to take your kitten to the vet. If this isn't his/hers usual behavior, something might be wrong with the kitten, or he/she might be sick. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
