Why do cats rub against your face?

I just got a new kitten a day ago and I love her a lot she's very playful and gentle she always rubs her face against mine what does that mean when she does that?
Cat's have scent glands on their face.
a show of affection, trying to get your attention, and putting her scent on you to mark you as "hers". cats have scent glands between their ears and eyebrows. it looks like their going bald on those spots. they mark their possessions and territory that way.
It is marking you with the scent glands in her face, and rubbing faces is a common greeting between cats who are friends/family. So she is saying she loves you and you belong together.
cats have scent glands along their jaws and when they rub you or things they are leaving their scent (a way of stating that they were there or claiming you as theirs)
It means she's rubbing her scent on you. This means she owns you and no other cat owns you too, sounds like she loves you.
They have scent glands in their face; when they rub against you they're marking you with your scent.
they're leaving they're scent on you to tell all the other animals that your theirs! it means they love you!: D
The cat is showing affection for you.
