I gave up my kitty Im so upset!?

My cat is 4 yrs old her name is harmony. I got her when she was as big as my hand she did everything she could with me, like my little shadow ... lol. She is all black and very silky smooth, with beautiful green eyes. She was not spayed because we were trying for kittens, she had some but they unfortunately they did not survive do to complications during the birth. But because she was not spayed she was constantly spraying all over the house! It was so bad that she was spraying on all the bed and pillows even clothes and peoples legs, So we tried to seclude her in my bedroom but she started ripping up the carpet and the door, that was making us have to consistently tell her to stop. But she would be there the second we looked away, She was just driving me and my boyfriend INSANE! So one October 23 I gave her to a local shelter, the second I called I was regretting it my decision terribly I started to cry instantly! They came and took her within 45 mins of me calling them and the next thing I know my baby was gone!: (Ever since that day I haven't felt the same, I feel so empty! My mom and boyfriend said they would pay for me to get her back for 90 dollars but they dont have money like that to just blow away like that on a mistake that i made.So I said that I would just get a new baby kitten for free and start over. My boyfriend already has a kitten waiting for me from his friend at work and it'll be ready by christmas, but all i can think about is my baby sitting in a shelter cage all scared and depressed thinking "What did I do wrong for mommy to hate me? "I miss my kitty so bad I feel like I might go brake her out and get her that way. I dont know what to do! But Im Sooooooo Sad I always wanna cry about it even though i dont, I just miss my kitty . What should I do?
That's horrible. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

If you miss your kitten you should definitely get a new one ... as the best way to move on is certainly by moving on.

It's terrible that you didn't decide to do research or do anything you could do to fix her scratching. There are lots of easy fixes to that.

If you really want her back I'd just accept their money. If you're crying this much, why subject your cat to being torn away from her home and being put in a shelter?

If she's still there, just get her back! You can do it!: D
before giving her up you should have gotten her spayed!! If you can GO GET HER! She is probably scared and doesn't understand what is going on. As for the spraying-did you try keeping the litter box clean? maybe have 2 instead of just one. I really think the spaying would have helped.
awwww I love kittys:) I have one special kitty. That was yours ... so go get it back !!!!!!! First call the shelter and make sure she's still there ... tell them you're coming back for it and ask for how much money. Get that money and get her back to her home!!!!:) goodluck.
Go get your cat back and learn to be a responsible pet owner. The last thing you need is another kitten to dump when it gets older and has issues because you didn't get it fixed.
Try to tell the shelter that the person who phoned them to take the cat was an ex friend who did it out of spite. Say you want the cat back because you didnt give the permission to take it:) or even ask if you can do volunteer work at the shelter in return for the cat.
Are you KIDDING me? Are you really coming on here whining expecting us to feel sorry for you? You have NO business being a pet owner! pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Why did you want your cat to have kittens with the MILLIONS of kittens being put to death at shelters every year since there's just not enough homes for them? And had you gotten her spayed SHE WOULD HAVE STOPPED SPRAYING and you wouldn't have " had "to dump her at a shelter.

Odds are this cat was immediately euthanized at this shelter since you brought it in with "behavioral problems" because I'm absolutely POSITIVE you didn't bother to find a no-kill shelter, right?

If you can't afford the $ 90 to get your cat back (not sure why ANY shelter would allow that - in twenty years of volutneering with shelters I've never come across one that allows this) then how are you going to afford to get a "free" kitten its shots, deflead, dewormed, tested for disease and HOPEFULLY spayed or neutered???

You want to go "break her out"? Here's hoping you DO and end up arrested! And guess what? Since you gave this cat up to a shelter you've been put on the DO NOT ADOPT list with this shelter that is shared with every shelter within a hundred miles or so. Shame on you. Wow.
NO KITTENS! This is the last thing this world needs. There's plenty of cats in shelters that would love to have a loving home. Listen, I want you to go back to that shelter RIGHT NOW and get that cat spayed !!!!!! You bring her home, gave her a day to rest, and her spraying problem will be solved. Trust me! It was a very poor desicion to take her back to the shelter. Take my advice. Go to the shelter now! Get her spayed! And she'll be fine and nonspraying !!!!!! Please go get her!
