He ran out of the house at 7AM and just got back around 8PM. He has a black mark of dirt on his face and my mom told me that he was limping a little. He keeps meowing and he wont move. Obviously, he hurt his leg. What should I do? My mom wont drive me to the vet and my sister isn't picking up her phone otherwise she would take me. Please help, I can't stop crying for this little guy ......
when I say "he wont move" I mean he can't walk he just lays there and meows. His temperature is 96 something which is low for a cat I believe. My mom placed him in a small bed with blankets ...
He's suffering. He needs to be taken to a vet. There is an entire list of things that COULD possibly be wrong and it's impossible to diagnose from your description. Until he can be taken to a vet, keep him warm and comfortable . Make sure he is not dehydrated. food is not a high priority right now. do not give pain meds, cats are intolerant to almost everything and can die from the reaction to medication. Take. Him. To. The. Vet. if for nothing else than to euthanize him, don't let him die slowly and painfully.
You should really get him to the vet. Call a friend or someone to take you. If you absolutely cannot get him there tonight, make him comfortable and make sure everything he needs is right there (water, etc). Do NOT give him aspirin or any human pain killers - cats do not have the same make up as us and can't handle it. At the very least, call an emergency vet hospital in your area, and ask them what you should do until you can get there. Good luck!

Any responsible pet owner would move heaven and earth to find SOMEONE to get you to a vet! It is probably in pain and if his temp is that low he needs help. Please Beg your mom to help you!!
you need to take him to the EMERGENCY VET right away!. same thing happend for my dog. and you make have to get her surgery. even if you have to walk to the vet yourself.
This kitten is DYING. The temperature drop is probably because he's in shock. Normal temp is 100-102!!! He probably got hit by a car. If he's still alive call a cab and take it to the vet.

What's your mother's excuse for not taking him? Money? Ignorance? And why do you let him free roam if your mother won't be responsible for getting him to a vet when he needs one? You might want to let her know about the phrase FELONY ANIMAL NEGLECT. She has an injured pet she's denying care to and could go to jail for this.
