A few questions about my kitten?

My kitten is almost 7 months, she's still pretty small. She's very tall, taller than her 2y.o. adopted sister, she's long, and about 50% tail (seriously, her tail is long enough that she stretches out and it still touches her nose.) She's still REALLY high energy. So my questions are these:

Will she calm down some soon?

Will she hit a growth spurt, or will it be a small subtle change?

Do cat's tails grow with them, or does the tail stay the same length?

I've never had a kitten, so I don't really know what to expect. Thanks!!
Congrats on your new kitten:) They are truly a percious gift.

Your kitten sounds very cute:)

Yes, she will calm down some, with age they mature just like us and calm down. They will still be active but in a calm way.

She will continue growing until she is about a year old, when cats grow big its usually because they eat too much or aren't active enough.

And cat tails do grow with them, but like there bodies will stop when they are fully mature. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Good luck with your kitten=) Enjoy them!!!
Hello!

Kittens are so cute, congrats on your new one!

Ok now for the answers to your question:

1.) She will calm down eventually. All cats get a little wild at night though I must say (hunting mode).

You probably won't notice it, but yes she will grow over time. I wouldn't exactly say "hit a growth spurt". Also some cats are just little she might only grow a tiny bit more, or not even at all .

2.) Cat's tails do grow.
It depends on the breed so ... Just let mother nature take its course and find out! She sounds normal and she will calm down eventually.
She should grow into her tail . I hope you have had her spayed, this should calm her down some. She is old enough to go into heat and they are noisy and crouch down and put their bums in the air and yell. If you see this, and she is not spayed yet, take her right away. Sounds like she will be a big female cat. Thank you for loving her, but for her own good have her spayed, it will keep her from having unwanted kittens and also prevent breast and uterus cancer and pyometra which is an infection that can kill a kitty. Give her plenty of toys you make, the bought ones are cute but can be dangerous, small parts, toxic dyes, etc. Put one clean sock inside another, and put some catnip in it too . Tie the top of the sock closed. Throw it to her and watch the fun. Cats love paper bags from the grocery store, throw her one opened up and see her go in. Scratch on the bag and play with her. Watch you do not get scratched. they will chase the inside roll from toilet paper too. Be careful of grocery plastic bags, they can strangle if they put their head thru the handle and roll around and make it go tight, some cats will lick and bite off peices of plastic bag and choke. Have fun ..
