well when i first got my kitten he would always want to be held and hated being in the room without me and was always so affectionate like when I was on the computer or something he would lay in my lap and sleep and look up at me all the time. it was so cute. But not outta no where he hates even sitting by me:/
I kinda miss him always wanting attention, is this normal, do they go through stages or something?? I havent done anything different, im always real nice to him. He's my first kitten .. and i kinda feel really sad about it lol. thanks guy:)

Cats start out playful but mature and become independent. I have also noticed that some perfumes bother cats.Remember a cat will groom himself to keep clean and also stay away from smells it finds offensive. Your cat loves you but still you cat has matured to the independent pet that all cats become.
just pick him up and tickle him under his chin, or better still cats love have their spine rubbed gently, if ignore him but make sure he has plenty of water
maybe he is having a little phase of being independent
