what can I give my 7 yr old cat so she `ll throw-up?

She gets hair balls, but can `t throw them up, even with med` s from the vet. I feel so bad for her, there `s got to be something that works. Help
If your cat is coughing, you 've used a product like "Laxatone" which is for hairballs and constipation and your cat is still not getting hairballs out, it is highly likely your cat may have Asthma which, at the coughing stage, is VERY serious.

Your Vet needs to take an x-ray to see if your cat has Asthma and immediately get the cat on Prednisolone to start, then wean off once you get your AeroKat and inhalor of Flovent (and Albuterol for emergencies). If this is the case , write me and I will tell you where to get the Flovent and Albuterol very in expensively and how to wean them off the Prednisolone while starting on the Flovent with the Aerokat chamber.

Here is info. I have on Asthma cats (I have 2 myself):

The coughing stage of asthma is one of the more serious stages of asthma.

Yes, they will need medicine the rest of their life.

The safest medicine is "Flovent" or "Flixotide" inhalors using a breathing chamber, I find the best to be the "AeroKat" ($ 50.00). They will need this

2x/day every 12 hours (or as close to 12 hours) as you can.

If you end up with this method and need any assistance in how to use it, or put the AeroKat together, feel free to e-mail me.

Your vet may suggest Prednisolone (absorbs faster than Prednisone), but using this for long periods of time causes other health issues with your cat, so I would definitely recommend the inhalor w/AeroKat (has 2 sizes of face masks, very easy to use after the first couple of times).

I can also let you know, once your kitten is diagnosed, where to buy the least expensive inhalors, and where to get the AeroKat (best to buy a new one).

It's also important to keep one inhalor of Albuterol for emergencies, if the kitten/cat cannot stop coughing. This is truly a dangerous point of asthma.

I have 2 asthma cats, one more severe than the other.
Prevention is worth twice the cure. Brush, brush, brush. You can use this site for home treatments

Give her a 1/4 teaspoon of pure petroleum jelly so it can go through her digestive. You can buy hairball removal cat eats it mine love the taste at a pet store maybe in pet section at grocery store. It's like a gel.
Put some Vaseline petroleum jelly in her paw and she will try to clean it and she will swallow it. Or get some grass from outside. that's what I do to mine. I hope this helps.
Get her some cat grass to chew on since she never goes outside. Grass is very effective in helping cats eliminate hairballs. The grass wraps itself around the hairball and the cat throws it up because they can't digest it.
I ' m not sure how to make her throw up but we use petroleum product from the pet store that worked for our long hair cat. I think the brand is Petromalt.
Grow "Cat Grass" for her to eat.
Let her outside to eat grass. Best of luck!
add a little "cat grass" to her foods
