we recently bought a new kitten hes been sleeping in my bed for the 2 days that we have had him so far. and now he is mentally or/and physically attached to me like im his mom. in the mornings i put him in his room , (so the other older cat cant get to him) and leave for school. immediately he starts meowing ate the top of his voice. he always has fresh food and water in his (rather large comfy) room, its warm in the room, he has a radio playing at low sound, he has a litter box in there too. please help!
The kitten is used to having someone around it at all times (its mom, and other kittens), so it find it awkward to be sitting alone, the only thing you can do is ignore it although you find it cruel, but its the only way. She will get used to the fact that it has to be alone sometimes and it wil stop meowing (should take a couple of days) and btw let it sleep alone it really helps!
BTW i dont mean you should ignore it at all times, on contrary you should give it as much attention as you can but only WHEN YOU can!!
This is normal behavior. Your kitten is still a baby, and he doesn ' t like being left alone. Young kittens need interaction with other cats/kittens or humans. Make sure he has plenty of toys to keep him occupied, but he's still going to cry. He's in a new place, he's all alone - it's scary for him.

If you don't think the older cat will hurt him, let the kitten out. The other cat will help the kitten simply by being there, and hey, they have to get used to one another at some point.:)

Your kitten is very young and still dependent on his "mother" (you!)
He doesn't like to be left alone. But you do need to go to school. Just make sure you give him lots of love and attention when you get home. He will start to get used to his new schedule.
He will outgrow it, he's just clingy because he's in a new environment. Make sure he has toys too, to keep him occupied.
try having sex with it.
