my cats ears normally stand up straight, but she came home one day and one is flopped over, kind of bent to the side, and she flinches when i go near it, could it be broken?
Broken isn't really the word since the ear is made of cartilage, but yes, it's possible that her ear has been injured. The only thing you can do is not touch it if it hurts her and give her time to heal. Either it will stand back up on its own once it's healed, or she will always have a quirky bent ear, which will just add character!
I dont believe that a cats ears can be broken. It is just cartillage that makes up the ear. It may be possible sprained or torn. Either way I would take her to the vet ASAP to make sure she doesnt get an infection or any other medical problems develop. I hope this helps.
It isn't broken but could be that the ear has been injured . Does she shake her head a lot? It is possible she has ear mites and just holding her ear over due to the irritation. I would take her to a vet to make sure she hasn't been injured or if ear mites they can treat her.
She is probably in pain. Take her to the vet as she may have an infection in there.
no it has no bone in it, it should pop up again
