Without further clarification, I'll have to say no. I have several pet cats, a few of which have sat in my windows on many occasions. I must say I didn't notice any catastrophe afterward, unless you want to count possible paw prints on the glass or claw marks in the window screen.

That depends I guess .... Is it lucky to have a stupid cat who never gets the mental stimulation that looking out a window provides? If so than yeah it's way bad luck ....
But if not ... NO and your cat LOVES it! And happy cats bring a whole bunch of good luck along with them .... Or so I've heard.
Luck and cats depends on the color of the cat and what hemisphere your in. also how superstitious you are because that's exactly what it is superstition.
I haven't heard of that before. All I have heard of is if a black cat cross's your path.
