And I have this cream but it says it's for older cats. She is being bitten by a ton of fleas and it's breaking my heart .. Would it be harmful to put a little cream on her?
I believe so. Give her a bath with i think its dish detergent. that will kill a lot of them. Then gently but thoroughly dry her with a towel, and get her warm. it should help reduce the number of fleas even if they aren't all gone.

Bathe the kitten with Dawn dish soap. The original Dawn with no added ingredients (ie bleach). the fleas will fall off and it's safe for the kitten.
there's probably kitten remedies at petsmart or petco or even walmart. i'd probably just call the vet though theyll give you the safest answer!
if you can give it a bath in dawn dish soap and then put baby powder on her and that will kiil the fleas
