Theres a stray young cat that lives in my garage I feed it and what not its been around our house since summer. Just recently it started acting strange ... I went in my garage to feed it and it wouldnt get up out of a box its in so I picked it up and put it near the milk I got it .. It took like 2 drinks of it and then walked away it was sitting in the middle of my garage and was just staring at the ground making a very loud meow .. when It got on its 4 legs it would just fall over it has no balence .. So I picked it back up and put it in the box. It didnt seem aggresive but could this be the starting of rabbies? Its also very cold out and in the garage but it has a box full of blankets if the coldness means anything. And I want to bring it to a vet to see whats up but my parents wont since its not our cat ..
It is very, very ill. I don't think this is rabies. It sounds like parvo. You need to take it to a shelter. If it does not get treatment, it will die.
Edit - Why has the cat not gotten help if it's been sick for that long?
Call a vet hospital and tell them what you notice they will be able to tell you from the symptoms you describe if its rabies or not, if so it will need medical help now and should be found a home
