my cats eye is messed up. it has a green slime coming from his eye .. I noticed he wasn't oping his eye so i looked at it and it was matted shut (like it was all crusty so it go stuck together) oi cleaned it with a warm wash rag then i looked at it and it was all red. and i thought that it was maybe from the rag so i wait a day then looked at it again and it still looked red and its starting to get all crusty again.
Your cat absolutely needs to go to the vet-the sooner the better! It's either an injury or infection & neither of these is something to mess around with. Your vet will probably prescribe an antibiotic eye ointment & maybe an oral med too.
You can give him a little relief by putting several drops of contact lens SALINE SOLUTION into the eye 3 x's a day. DON'T use Visine or any other product like it.
This will help a little with the crusting but will not cure the infection or injury that is actually causing the crusting so vet-ASAP.

Sounds like his eye got infected, maybe he scratched it, take him to the vet for check up in case there is something in his eye. Good luck.
Pink eye or allergy infection clean with warm rag and put some drops in. If doesn't improve with this take to vet won't heal on own if it's bacterial infection.
Just call the vet, they would be in better position to tel what is wrong with ur cat
Sounds like an eye infection. This can cause blindness if left untreated. Call the vet.
