One week ago our family cat that is 2yrs old got hurt. He got out of the house, so I belive maybe he was hit by a car. He came home that night and was in pain not able to walk well. We blocked him into the bathroom. He would cry when he repostioned himself. But then after a couple days he didnt do that any longer. He is able to walk now and eat now. His tail is limp.
He has been in his litter box and digging but doesnt seem to be able to squat correctly.
He was had poops/small turds ... They are just in the bathroom though, He pooped one turd in the kitty litter and another turd got stuck on his hair, and I helped remove it.
He has not peed in the kitty litter. But there are pee/wet marks on the towel
Im not sure if he is just leaking pee or doesnt know when he pees ...
He is doing wonderful other than that.
I feel horrible that Im not able to take him to the vet. And theres no need to explain my money situation here but trust me if I could I would take him in.

Now I dont know if more time will let him recover better.
Or when Im able to afford to take him in to.
Or put him to sleep,
or what ....
Our family is very heart broken over this.
We have let him out to roam the house and we play and love on him lots but he is still in the bathroom becuz of the potty issues.
Your MUST see a vet, there is no other answer.
Many vets are willing to help you work out payment plans.
If you cannot afford treatment, then make arrangements with the vet to have your cat put down so he will no longer suffer.
I am sorry for your family and hope you will be able to work things out.
good luck!
The poor cat. I am sorry for your financial situation, but the only thing you can do is take him to the vet. He's probably in terrible pain. If you can't do that, surrender him to a shelter so he can be euthanized and won't suffer anymore. You owe him that much.
You seem to be confused. You don't get to choose whether or not to take the cat to the vet when it is injured. You are legally required to provide adequate medical care for this animal - denying him that is called neglect and you can get fined or even go to jail. The limp tail and potty issues could be indicative of a spinal cord injury, which is not something you can treat by locking the cat in a bathroom with a towel.

Surrender the cat to a rescue or shelter so he can be treated or at least humanely euthanized and please do not get any more animals you can't afford.
I am heartbroken after reading this. Here is some information you should know that could possibly help you find the money to get the vet care your pet needs: Cats have very loose skin that allows them to squirm out of danger, but unfortunately this does not work with a car or other outside dangers. This also causes many problems because the extent of internal damage that can be done is not seen from the outside, but only by the symptoms they show. They also do not show pain because in the wild, it's a way to protect themselves when they are. Your cat seems to be in a HUGE amount of pain and it sounds like his kidneys and bladder have suffered damage that cannot be repaired; his tail is broken and if not treated (and please don't use household treatments in lieu of vet care), gangrene could set it and do worse damage. Leaving him in this situation is so incredibly inhumane ....

Owning any animals means that you'll take care of it. This poor boy deserves at least that much compassion and help, right? Get him to a vet. This is so very sad.
