lure him with tuna. if that doesn't work drag a shoelace toward and into your house on the ground. he'd hunt it down like prey and then you lock the door. ha ha, got you.
or get a box of cats candy, rattle it at him to make a bit of noise, not too much so you don't scare him off, get his attention, give him a few and then throw them toward and into your house. let him go after it and when he's in the house ...
Go outside or stand in the doorway with a bag of dry food or treats and shake it. this should lure him inside. Alternatively you can go outside with a can of wet food with a pop top and open it up. he will hear and come running.
Go outside, lay down on the grass. When he comes into arm range, pet him then scruff him and get up, take him indoors.
If this doesn't work, contact a feline rescue about renting the loan of one of their live traps.
Try to teas him with its favorite food and if that dose not worke then get colse and grab him
Use food or treats to lure him into the house:)
