she goes outside during the day and loves it! we bring her in each night at about 4-5 o'clcok but then she just wants to go outside! all she does is meow!!! she wakes everyone up in the middle of the night!!! we cant stand it! please help!
If she was a strictly indoor cat there wouldn't this type of problem. When I took in a stray cat I used a water bottle to teach him not to do that same thing you are dealing with. It took a month, but he learned and has not meowed to go out in a over a year.
i know just how you feel, but you have to let go sometime if your in a safe area.my cats uesed to go out by day and at night but they would come in at my bed time and if i was up late they stayed out as they were never fare from my whistle or call.in the morning at about 4am i would get up for the loo and let them out if they wanted to go and by 8am i was up and there they were waiting for me.it wasnt untill my boys were 9 then they had a cat flap and it took Jed some time to use it but Marvin was away and then Jed, they always went to bed with me but at 4-5am of they went and then id see them again when i got up.i kept Jed in a long time before i let him go out as i was so scared of him going away but they did not, its just up to you some cats never go out but i couldnt let mine stay in forever.im sure you will find your answer, good luck: ~)
I used to have a cat that acted like this. Don't let her in around four, though. That's too early. Bring her in 6-7ish. If it's too cold, of course, don't let your cat out. Start getting her used to later times, and keeping her inside.
We have 2 cats and one kitten one of the older cats always wants to stay out over night so we let her?! depends on where you live though i prob wouldn't if i lived in or close to a built up area.: D
one day go outside with her and see what she does.U just might be able to solve ur problem by seeing what she does and how or why it makes her want to go out again.
Does she have a food source outdoors? If during the day she does, then this may be why.

be stern so that she can become trained
