My cat is 5 months old ... His name is Maddy! Whenever I pick him up he always licks my neck, and not just licks it ... he licks it like there is tuna rubbed on it. I dont mind it but I am starting to think its a little weird. He also bites my nose too ... which now I am starting to think is not your average love bite. He will give me kisses and then all of a sudden just bite my nose, but he will stay there and hold on to it with his teeth! Have no idea what that means .. but he usually lets go when he senses I dont like it. Any ideas poeple?
Do you spray cologne or perfume on yourself? Often people have it on their necks and chest from when they applied it. My dog likes licking mine off sometimes when I am lying on the floor with him, it tickles so if its the end of the day I will let him do it because I am gonna get a shower anyway!
Just think, did you apply any fragrance? Shower gel? Body Spray? Have you been to the gym/exercised that day, if so, it could be the salts from dried sweat on you which the cat is licking.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com The bite to your nose, I think its just something the cat thinks it can play with. I dont think its anything aggressive, its just playing with you or it wants you to let it go.
My kitten LOVES licking my toes! !! its soooo gross and annoying, but is prob just because the same reason as yours there only little and should (hopefully) grow out of it!!: D
He misses nursing .... you must love him alot. .... he senses that and is bonding with you! Enjoy it .... cats r fickle .... he will out grow it .... so enjoy for now!
