My daughters cat keeps going through the house letting out this awful howl, almost sounds like someone is killing her. Then she will crowch to the floor, raise her butt up in the air and her back starts twitching like she is going to use the bathroom . She keeps coming to us fussing but we can't figure out what she is wanting. What's up??
In heat for sure. I think the twitching is from sensitivity. Please get her spayed asap Some female cats are more annoying than others and will keep you up all night with their meowing. If a male cat is near by, he could send her into heat often ...
She is in heat for sure! Getting her spayed asap will put a stop to that and it will prevent her from getting Pyometra (an infected uterus). My cat just went through emergency surgery to remove her uterus because of Pyometra. Please have her spayed so you won't have to go through what I have.
Your cat is not spayed. She must be in heat. Heat is when they want a tom. I suggest you scratch her back gently and she will do the same. Which means she's ready for a mate.
