Ok there is one cat in this house that has been here for like 2 years. A few weeks ago my boss's kid found this other cat, a small one (but not really small, it's probably like 6 months old or so) and he wanted to keep it. But whenever we feed them, the smaller cat keeps trying to eat the bigger cat's food, even though they have the exact same amount of the same thing. Honestly it's pissing me off, because the bigger cat is really nice and it winds up getting scared away from the food all the time, and then the little one will eat BOTH dishes of food! And they get a LOT of food, so it's like purposely overeating just to keep the other cat from getting any food! I tried putting the other cat in another room while the bigger one eats but it likes to eat some and then save some for later (they only get fed twice a day so I guess it wants a snack for later) but as soon as it walks away, the little cat comes and eats every bit of food on the dish.
well, the one cat you found, Polly was left hungry to much when it was little.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com and the cat that you have had isn't used to defending its food.
be sure to watch the first cat eat until they are finished.
in Other words just keep at it, you are doing fine, just it may take Little longer to get results.
Bring the kitten to the vet to check for worms but kittens growing eat a lot! Since they burn so many calories by playing so much and growing. Many vets recommend feeding a kitten more than 2X a day for the first year. While feeding, put the cats in different rooms separated by a door so the older cat gets the food it needs as well.
You need to consult your vet about this problem, but try feeding them at separate times - as in put one in your bedroom as you feed the other. Leave the food down long enough for him to eat, then switch.
You should check to see if it has worms. cats dont purposly sit and think about how to get rid of the other cat by starving it lol:)
its probably possess or something
