I got a kitten a few months ago and i love it but as it has recently started an annoying thing where you will be sitting down and it will pounce on you and start clawing you and biting. It hurts but I tell it off and put it outside the room i am in but then it will start meowing loudly outside until you let it back in then it will just claw and bite you again. When you are eating it will jump up to you and try to get at your food and if you put him aside he will try and claw you. he isn't really a kitten anymore and it i getting annoying, is there a way to stop this?
Try using a squirt bottle every time it bites, scratches or meows.
when you sit down for a rest and it starts to bite and scratch you, On the contrary, he is playing with you, and showing that he loves you. Cats when there young are full of energy and love to play, some just have a weird way of showing their love to their owners. It will start meowing because it want's to cary on, but it cleary has no idea its hurting you:) hope this was of help
A product called soft paws for the nails , and maturity will stop this behavior. Play with him with a toy, roll balls, get one of those feather things - tire that kitten out put the soft paws on and you will love him again
Get him a scratching post and some toys to play with.
