My cats are covered but it just lightly snowed does that kill the ticks?
It is a myth that cold weather kills ticks, it really just makes them less active, but they are still there. Get some frontline plus from the vet, it's only about $ 10 - $ 15 and it works great for killing fleas and ticks. You don't even have to actually take your cat to the vet, you can just walk in and tell them your cat has ticks and they will sell it to you :-)
If you don't remove the ticks from the cats, it can kill them. The cat becomes anemic. Contact your vet for the meds that will kill these ticks so that the cats no longer suffer.
