How would you go about properly introducing one female kitte

they would only be a few months apart
Well since they are kittens there shouldn't be any issues. I had a couple of hissy fits between my 6 month old jus in the older one played a little rough. My other two are 1 year and 1 1/2 years old and it took them about a month to really start to love her. Now they all play and clean each other. But it depends on their personalities. But I don't think you have too many issues and since they are kittens they probably won't hurt each other too badly,.
We make our spare bedroom into a kitty apartment with litter, food, water, toys, soft beds, etc. We keep the new kitty in there for about a week and let the two play patty paws under the door. After about a week we let the new kitty loose in the house, but not outside. They won't immediately take to each other but the slow introduction slows down the hissing and paw swipes that never hit anything. After this, it is pretty much up to them. Don't interfere, it slows their adjustment. they have to work things out.
Since they are both kittens, you shouldn't have much trouble. They are still in that playful stage and haven't matured sexually. Just make sure to get them both fixed. Altered cats tend to be less territorial and are much calmer. Also a female cat in heat is not a pleasant thing to live with. Can't imagine two!
