i live in an apartment and i cant put my cats outside, its almost christmas and i want to put my tree up soon how can i stop them from climbing it and pulling it down? is there some kind of spray that will keep them off? it has to be pet and child safe ..
Yeah attaching it to your ceiling is your best bet. I personally find it hilarious when kittehs knock the christmas tree over though.
Put a hook into the ceiling and attach it with wire.
Or put it in a room with a door on and keep the cat out.
DO NOT use tinsel, that has killed an awful lot of cats who've eaten it.
Get yourself an upside down Xmas Tree.

put it in a corner, put a nail in the wall, tie a thick string around the tree and attach it to the wall, worked for me for years
