Some of you may remember me, I had the question about a sick feral kitten that had weak back legs, fever and diarrhea. We suspected Feline distemper. I still don't know what it was in particular, but I treated it as I would parvo/distemper. I gave her hourly fluids around the clock, just catching a hour and half to 2 hours at a time. We are on day 4, shes gone from not eating, not drinking and severely dehydrated to moving around, eating and drinking on here .. We'll most likely be keeping her; after the ordeal she went though she needs a real loving home.
My concern/issue right now is that now that shes feeling better she is understandable very needy. I've fostered young cats with those issues, but she takes it to the max. The past 24 hours she goes nuts when i'm not there . The main problem is he alone, keeping him under isolation under he fully recovers. I'm using a radio for background noise. I feel awful, but I also don't want to encourage the behavior, shes getting a attention often. She is being fed 4 times a day, while she re-gains weight. Any suggestions to help curve this?
if she is getting better dont worry, go about your daily routine.
I personally have not experienced this particular issue , however I can say with confidence that the best thing to do is be very patient with her. Soon she will realize that she is safe, that you will always come back, and that she will not be alone for very long.

I have 4 ex feral kittens that i foster same thing give toys and a teddy bear in it bed my love playing with it u see they come from big family and are lost with out them at start my all are from not the same ma two brothers 11 weeks old when they came last week. misty was 4 weeks old was throw over my wall she now 5 months old, jessie came with her sister later a week later her brother came to both of them now home but jessie she was a little to wild need more time they were 11 week at the time but no home came so her and misty move in with me and gizmo who is 4 years old have one other girl a man try to drown her and her ma ma could not save others but i got a home for her give toys and teddy bear it help i lear
