Why does my cat try to eat my Christmas tree?
he stands up and eats the lower branches. he also tries to eat plastic flowers
Cats aren't the smartest creatures.
kitty cats love to get in trouble like that , its something new in thier house, in fact my kitty tries to get up in the christmas tree and hide. But all kittys love stuff like that . :)

They taste good but are not good for them try adding lemon juice to the tree water he will taste the diffrence and should stop.

Yeah, cats do that. My families Christmas tree as a kid had no ornaments on the lower couple feet of the tree because the cats would terrorize them. Just be glad he hasn't tried to climb to the top and tipped over your tree yet. I don't think I'll ever forget my mother crying because her favorite tree star got destroyed one Christmas eve. Thank you kitty.
The X-mas tree is just another tree to cat which is something to be climbed on. My cats when they were kittens used the Christmas tree after X-mas as their own personal indoor climbing tree they were hanging from the same branch,sometimes they were up- side down. Cute as can be. They had the best time. They also popped the plastic centers out of silk flowers & then they ate the plastic centers.
