What is wrong with my cat's food?
she has been vomiting when we bought her new dry food. she vomits every two days once or every day once. her new dry food is Champion. we bought it cuz we didn't find the food she used to eat it. i don't that she is sick cuz she's very active. when she vomits you can see the pieces of food like they were in the dish.
answer: My kitties tend to throw up a few times when I get them dried food that's a different flavor to what they are used to. It'll take a few days for your kittie's tummy to adjust to the new food. She might also be eating a bit too fast and those whole pieces can't digest properly. Also, make sure she has plenty of water around as it will help her digestion. If she keeps throwing up, I would suggest taking her to the vet.

It takes cats a few days to adjust to new food, you should always do the switch gradually starting off mixing the new food with the old food for a few days while gradually putting less and less of the old food. It is hard on our feline friends tummy's and digestion when we switch up their food. She could also be eating her food too fast or it could be hard for her to chew the new food.
it might be to hard on its tummy, you shouldnt change your cats food, stick with the dry food and stick to one brand/flavor. wet food is the worst! stick with what its eating it will clear up and the cat will stop vomiting, make sure it gets plenty of water to!
Sounds like she may be eating it too fast resulting in her not chewing it as well. Try giving her smaller quantities at a time until she slows down (if this is the issue). pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
