How do i make my cat not smell so bad?
She smells like cat poop all the time! and everyone knows that's the worst smell ever. It doesn't appear to be on her fur or anything, she just always smells! WHAT DO I DO?!!
bathe her! and when your done (blow dry her is her fur is too long) or wai til shes dry and use "shower to shower" body powder on her. shell smell ok then! hope this helps.
They have scented wipes you can buy at the pet store, and not just for the rear end. You can use them on the whole cat. She'll smell nice and fresh.
Good luck!
You should clean her litter box more often. Also, check to be sure she's not getting it stuck on her or isn't stepping in it. Unfortunately, this issue comes with having a cat.
It may be the food she eats...wet cat food increases smell

Have you ever heard of Flint River Ranch? They make the best cat and dog food. My 3 cats have been on it for years. No one knows I have cats till they see them. They emit a very minimal amount of odor when they deficate.

If your cat goes outside, (don't laugh) it could be because of crickets and/or lizards.
I had a cat that was fine until she started to eat lizards and crickets. Then, all bets were off!! Girl stunk to high heaven!!
Just a thought!
My experience has been that the higher the quality of food I feed my cats, the smaller their poops are, and the less smelly. Something in the Science Diet food does not agree with your cat’s digestion. Eukanuba is a step up from Science Diet (regular Iams is about the same as Hill’s), and brands like Felidae, Nature’s Balance, Wellness, and Inova Evo are even better. I know that if you look at the prices you might feel some sticker shock – but I have found out the hard way that the more I spend on cat food, the less I spend on veterinary bills. One advantage of the higher quality foods is that cats are generally satisfied eating less, because the food is more dense nutritionally. So that also helps to offset the greater expense.

I’ve gotten stuff like this from Doctors Foster and Smith catalogue, and they have a website –

Try cleaning out her litter more often, that could be the problem.
Not good to always give your cat baths or spray stuff on them because they lick themselves.
Clean the bed she sleeps in... Try to make sure your house doesn't smell bad... do common sense stuff.

Try Furminator Waterless De-shedding Shampoo and Conditioner for cats. It has a fresh scent and you don't have to bathe the cat. You just rub it in and towel her dry.
If the smell isn't from her fur, try feeding her a better quality food.
Have you checked to see if her anal glands are impacted? Cats don't normally smell bad like that and if you can't see any evidence of poop stuck to her fur, then that's probably what's wrong with her. You should take her to the vet to see if that's the problem.
clean her butt
