Well, who wouldn't love a blue silky shiny mouse? Maybe it's the smooth texture, or maybe it's just the perfect size and shape for your kitty's paws. Whatever the reason, maybe you should buy some extras and put them away for when this one wears out!

I've had a number of cats, and each one has had radically different tastes in toys. Just like humans, they seem to have their personal preferences, and whatever seems to attract them to one toy and not others is a complete puzzle.

For example, I have one cat that loves soft balls, but ignores most other types of toys. My other cat, however, is completely obsessed with one particular brand of feather toy. She drags her feather toy all over the house with her, and drops it at my bedroom door each night. She is interested in other toys because she loves to play, but if I try to play with her for very long with other toys, she inevitably brings her feather toy as a substitute. Our third cat completely ignores most toys and prefers to do things like open all the cabinets in the house (much to our consternation). We've had cats in the past that were happy to play with anything and everything.
