My kitten has bad breath and needs a mint badllly. What do I do?

Stop putting your face near your cat for starters. Really, cats are destined to have bad breath, it's not like they can brush their teeth. If you're that concerned, take them to the vet and get a dental treatment. (About $70 depending on the vet) Or try some of those Kitty-fresh-breath treats, which I've found make it worse. ha my cat eats people breathe mints. idk what tehre called but if u put on the hte table he will lick it till its gone =) my vet said it wouldnt hurt the cat

Routine cat dentals cost around $300 not $70. There is anesthesia, bloodwork, heart monitoring and alot more detail. People mints will just burn a hole in your kitties stomach eventually. All kittens have bad breath, its just part of kittenhood and their food. Maybe there is an off chance there is an abcess in the mouth, but your cat would be showing pain. If it bothers you that much, call your vet.

brush your cats teeth, take a cat tooth brush and cat toothpaste that you can get at Petco and brush your cats teeth as if your brushing your own teeth!

Take her to the vet and have her checked for worms. This is a huge cause of bad breath in cats. Also,if you liked your butt,wouldn't your breath stink?
