Get her to the vet, get her to the vet, get her to the vet!!
This is an abscess, and if left untreated - WILL kill her.
Looks like your kitten has an abscess that has already drained. First check her nose, if this is dry your kitty is certainly with a bit of fever. If you see her becoming letargic you will need to take her to the emergency vet ASAP. Otherwise you can clean the wound with some antiseptic (Iodine would be fine) and wait until tomorrow when you normal vet is open. Most cats develop this abscess when they are on a fight and the initial wound gets infected, most likely she will need some antibiotics to combat the infection and if there is still something left there, then the vet will need to do a little curettage under general anesthesia to get rid of the granulation tissue and all the debris that can still be there.
There is a hole in her side? I think that your kitten will be fine until the morning. If the mark has been there for a little while and your kitten is still acting the same then there is probably not a life or death emergency right now. If your kitten has been acting differently, especially sluggish or like she is in a lot of pain then you need to get her to an all night vet right away. My thoughts are that she will probably be okay. Shave the area and bandage it as well as possible and get your kitten to the vet first thing tomorrow. Also, clean the area. You don't want your kitten getting infected.
make sure your cat's in a safe, warm and dry space. Keep it with you in your room tonight so you can hear and see if it's in pain. Try and cover the wound as scratches and bites from other cats can cause abscesses . If you find an abscess on your cat apply a hot compress to the abscess. A hot washcloth or rag works best. An abscess is a wound that looks like a hole. As soon as you can get your cat to the vet and it should all be ok.

He either bitten or slapped her. That form a abses. She need antibiotics. But in the mean time you could put some aromatherapy lavender on it. You can get it without prescription from all big pharmacies and it is not expensive. It will stop the abses, and prevent flies to lie eggs in the wound. Wait for the ginger with a water spray bottled that will keep him away in future
Has she been spayed?

If not, you should get her done.
keep the wound clean, to prevent infection.
Use a solution of, half and half, water and white vinegar, or apple cider vinegar and bathe it a few times a day.
It would be a good idea to keep your cat in, with a litter tray. Until you can get to the vets.
She probably will be given antibiotics.

put cat antiseptic on it (available from walmart) and if she stops eating or begins acting sluggish she needs to go to the vet right away. That means she is infected and could die without treatment.
If she is acting fine, it's probably just burst and is draining, as long as her behavior is normal she will be okay. I have actually put neosporin on my cats for this but it's probably not good for them to lick that so I don't recommend it.
There is really nothing you can do for her, if she is crying or seems upset just cuddle her a lot until you can get her to the vet. I'm really glad you are taking her to the vet though, good for you. I don't understand people who say they can't afford to go to the vet. If you can 't afford vet fees, don't get a pet in the first place. Again, good for you and good luck.
This is a serious infection and worthy of an emergency visit. As others have said, it will eventually kill your cat if untreated. The abscess means the infection has gone too far and the cat isn't getting better.
go tell the owner of that ginger cat and tell what is happening
