Why cats fall on their feet only?
When u saw a cat falling, they fall always on their feet even if they were falling backward they can flip their self in the air. How can cats do that?: D

It is just in their nature to do this. But do not let it fool you, because a cat can hurt themselves or even die (sorry) from a fall that is to high.Just be glad that they do land on their feet!!

It is a reflex that they have. Just like you put your hands out to stop you getting hurt if you fall.

It doesn't always work though. If they only fall a short distance they don't always have time to flip themselves. But then they are usually ok anyway (because it was only a short distance).

Cats have superior spatial skills and very flexible spines. They learn to twist to right themselves at an early age. They start from the tail and hind legs, then twist their body.

They need at least a metre fall to complete the movement.

some cant i saw a friends cat fall out a tree an land on its back. its a reject cat

They are extremely graceful and just downright awesome !!!

I've seen plenty of cats not land on their feet, it isn't a universal law.
