Does your cat chase nothing? Help?
This is probably normal, but I have seen my
cats (many times) just sprint and jump
around like he is chasing something or
being chased by something?
I can't see it but it very obvious he is seeing
something. Almost like a little fairy or
something, cause it's usually down on his
level .
He gets into the sort of hunting mode, eyes
dilated, whiskers out, super fast accuracy.
Runs around from one room to the living
room, jumping on and avoiding everything.
The he jumps on the window ledge or the
couch then looks down or across at
whatever he is being chased by (or chasing
himself)
Kinda freaky at times. And SO annoying!!

So how often do your cats do this?

answer:
Completely normal, no worries! hee - I have a few of my cats that do this as well. I have actually gone to see what they are chasing and it might be the tiniest little bug that crawled in from outside, could be a shadow from maybe a moving light from the curtains or blinds; heck, cats chase their tails ! lol That tells it all!

Yeah, definitely nothing to worry about, unless tail is fluffed up, they run and run without stopping, not knowing who you are - this would be a sign of a seizure and would need vet care immediately. 2 + minutes of seizing for a feline is emergency. Their brains are frying, need wet, cool (not cold) cloths over them on the way to the vet if this ever happens. (There is very inexpensive medicine for this to be given 2x/day for life).

my cat does that too , sometimes, but you know cats can see in another way, a better way, more specific way, know one knows exactly what it is, but it must be something that we don't have in our eyes, and so they might be able to see ... something ........ we cant.
ps. the doctor propably dosnt know what.

haha my kitten does this several times a day. it kind of sucks for me, because usually when she does it i'm one of those obstacles she jumps on - and she uses her claws: (

They are just working off some energy ... one of mine does this too. Try playing with him a bit more, or allowing him outside for longer. Probably won't stop him though!

Haha what a cute cat! Mine does that, too! pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
Don't worry tho about him hunting it's their instinct: D
My cat tends to poop after wards for some reason haha

never ever try to understand how a cat reacts the are much more clever that humans and if they could use a can opener they would not tolerate us
