My cat of six months poo foamy greenish brown poo.It sometimes has blood in it.Only eats cat food.Is under antibiotics and multivitamins.Used to be lethargic, but after treatment, is now playful. Is it normal for cats to poo foamy greenish poo? If not normal, what to do to help cat?
A book that every cat owner should have, is called "The Cat Owner's Home Veterinary Handbook". This book has been invaluable to me over the years. It is written by vets and has "a ton" of good, useful information in it. I call it "my Bible ".....
According to this book .... when looking up the" digestive system ", and stools in particular ........
Color (A normal stool is brown)
yellow or greenish stool ---- indicates rapid transit
bloody stool ---- indicates red blood or clots indicates lower bowel (colon) bleeding
Consistency ...
Foamy stool ---- suggests bacterial infection

If your kitten is already on antibiotics and multivitamins, the only other thing I would suggest would be to feed him a good quality dry KITTEN FOOD. He needs something to "bulk" up in his tummy to stop the "rapid transit" ... .... and the antibiotics should take care of the bacterial infection and the blood in the stool.
If he's not better after giving him KITTEN FOOD for a week or so, along with the other treatments, take him back for a fecal test ...... try to find out if he has worms or parasites causing the problems.
Hope I've helped ....... Good luck to you and your " ; baby ".......
