My cat pees everywhere, and I am worried that it is UTI (Urinary tract infection). We got him at the shelter, he was abused and neglected before. The shelter workers had no idea how old he was but my guess is 7, 8 or 9. I don; t think that I have seen blood in his urine. My parents are getting a divorce and my cats are at my step dads house and he refuses to take Regis to the vet. Could someone please tell me it is possible that he has UTI?

Blood and urinating everywhere? Yes, most likely at UTI. This can lead to kidney disease so he must see a vet. Your parents getting a divorce should not affect the care of this cats. Tell your step dad regardless of family problems , the cat should not need to suffer when a simple antibiotic treatment will do the trick.

yes it is possible that he has a uti. best thing to do is take him to a vet its not that expensive. you can also buy cat food that helps prevent uti
