Why? Because you CHOSE to move into a place that doesn't allow cats? If so - MOVE TO ONE THAT DOES.

If you REALLY have other options contact a no-kill shelter. But give them a hefty donation to cover some of the expenses. This site lists shelters by state:

Well lets see
Since you are so kind and such a responsible person there are shelters who will take them and happily kill them for you. There are also people who need food for snakes and would like to save a few dollars pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
Don't forget the dog fight trainers, they can use some cats too to break the dogs in. Of course we haven't talked about the ones who like to nail cats to wood from craigslist. Don't worry though out of sight out of mind right? It's cause of things like you that 8 million cats are killed each year just for being born but again don't worry. They are replaceable so you can ruin more lives
Well, since you can't take them with you, it is obviously not a home/appartment of your own.
There are so many appartments out there that you can rent or lease, i'm sure you can find atleast a few near by that allow pets.
Especially small pets like cats.
If you can't sacrafice a little bit for the well-being of the cat, then you are not a very good person.

My advice to you is to make it work out somehow.
Find a nice family that is willing to adopt your cat, or maybe even just keep it until you find another place to live. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
DO NOT give it to an animal shelter!~!@!~!@! (Petsmart, petco, etc.)
Look for another place. I've moved 6 times and did not have trouble having my cats with me. Dumping your pets into the shelter system or, worse, letting them go on the street to be killed by dogs, cars, kids, is unacceptable. You have your pets for life. Not for convenience.
