My cat will only eat boiled chicken will that harm him? # -0 - #
no, but you should probably try feeding it meat from the super market .. plenty of people do that! People buy raw meat for their dogs to eat, so why can't cats eat boiled chicken ..?:) Hope I helped ..

It won't harm him, but cat food would be better for him. Cat food is designed to give cats a healthy balanced diet. He will eat it when he gets hungry enough.

Boiled chicken is a safe thing for cats to eat . But it should not be the cat's only diet. There are nutrients that a cat needs that is missing from chicken meat alone. Calcium and taurine are only two of these.
Ask your vet for recommendations on home cooking for a cat. She'll give you suggestions for supplements you can add to the chicken so your cat will get everything it needs.

Try not to feed him that all the time, because it can cause him to choke on a piece or throw up or have runny stool. If he only eats that kind chicken, you can buy cat pouch treats or canned meat for cats like, Friskies or Whiskers that have meat in it.

Boiled chicken won't kill him anytime soon, but it's not nutritionally balanced for cats, like the cat food that has been ESPECIALLY FORMULATED for them. Unless you add a lot of other "ingredients" to your boiled chicken "diet", your cat will eventually have eye problems (lack of taurine) as well as others related to an insufficient diet ...... pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

So, why not try him on some of the chicken cat food, and see if he'll eat that. There are a number of brands of chicken cat foods, so try one of each until you find one he'll eat. At least, he'll be getting the extra vitamins, minerals, and taurine that cats NEED .......

Once you find the brand of chicken cat food that he'll eat, you can try other "flavors" of the same brand ........ and your cat MAY like those as well.

Hope your kitty starts getting the nutrition (from cat food) that he needs SOON. You didn't say HOW OLD this cat is ....... but, if he's a kitten, he NEEDS KITTEN food .........

Good luck ..........

There's nothing wrong with a bit of boiled chicken now and then. However this is not a nutritionally complete diet and your cat can still suffer malnutrition as a result.

You need to give your cat premium cat food. It has all the nutrients, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, etc. that a cat requires in a healthy, well balanced diet. Boiled chicken should be an occasional treat only.

cat's are strictly carnivores. their bodies are designed to live off of meat alone. avoid foods containing lots of grains and other carbs. you can buy a supplement formulated for cats to add into his chicken diet.
