Cat pulling her hair out?
My 7 year old cat has recently started to pull her hair out, mostly on her back towards her tail. Her hair is also clumping, which I am pretty sure is the hair she is pulling out. I cut the hair that I could but some is too close and I don't want to cut her. She also seems to have flakes of dandruff. I must also note she suffers from a lot of UTI's. Does anyone know what I can do to help her or what might be causing this. She is not acting any differently, other than with the UTI. I did give her some meds that are to help with UTI's.

Cats that lose hair can have a flea allergy. One flea can cause the incredible itching and they get to the base of the tail and it is also very common in dogs, too. They can develop what is known as a "hot spot" and chew it to pieces. Or it could be that the antibiotics you are giving you cat is causing an allergic reaction and she is itching from that. Check with your vet, so you wont give her the same medication if she does have an allergy to it.
Daily grooming and flea allergies sounds about right. Maybe there are other cat allergies too?
Try daily grooming
