We have not changed food, litter, nor do we have any new furniture or people in the house. We have a 2 story house, and a litter box on each floor, yet he pees and poos both on carpet and tile. He previously had a urinary tract infection a few weeks, but we treated him and he seems better... yet he still defecates. He even peed right in front of my mother, on the kitchen floor and then sprinted off upstairs [his litterbox is 15 feet away from the kitchen]. We have another, older spayed cat who is healthy and has never had any of these issues. Do you have any idea what could be wrong, why he is doing this? Thanks!!

That is weird. Maybe the infection is back or he's peeing and pooping on the floor on purpose.

when she does that maybe u should take her to her litter box or maybe phone the vet and ask?
