well number one because you are in there doing something and cats are curious, they like to know what's going on . 2. the water, running water. 3. to get into stuff while you are in there and can't stop them from getting into something. heheh

Because you leave the door open . Cats are Curious and need to know what their people are doing.

My cat loves to do this! He find running water totally fascinating. He bats it around, licks it off his paws , and tries to sniff at it. Cat's are curious animals, and want to know what is going on every time a new noise starts up. Also, you cat like you - and is interested to see what you're doing in there. My cat also likes to drink the water dripping down the sides of the bathtub.

If you don't like him in there, make sure you shut the door before you have a bath. You can also spray him with water , which is a great deterrant.

HI my cat loves following me around the house and garden, she just loves joining in with me, and especially in the bath or shower but i have a turkish van cay and they are known as the swimming cat where they came from, your cat loves you and wants to join you in most things you will do, why don't you play with him/her with the water they would love it. best wishes to you both.
