Why do cats pee on carpet?
My cat is 11 years old and just now starting to pee on the carpet in the room with the little box. I clean it out everyday. She never done this before and I keep cleaning carpet and she peed on it right after I clean it again. Very frustrating. Any advice before I call vet?

because you don't rub your pussy enough, so it has little leaks during the day.

Remove the carpet or remove the cat, only way to get that to stop once they urinate on that spot, they will always go back. Other cats 10 years from now will pee there. You can put years of secret recipes and chemicals on the carpet, hundreds of different cats, they will still pee there. I had the same problem, cut the spot out, and applied Kilz, 2 layers of trash bags, and some laminate flooring solved my problem for good!

Your cat being older, my not be able to jump or want to jump into a high litter box all the time. So you may need to get a litter box that is lower to the ground. That's what worked when my older cat started peeing around the house.

get a litter box that she will be able to climb into easier this might help some. since shes very old i would consult a vet and see if maybe her kidneys or bladder isn't working like it should be.

Give it canned food and it will stop. Dry food is poison .. practically

You may want to try using the cat litter named Cat Attract or she may have a urinary tract infection or her older age. If she does have a uti she may be straining to urinate, may pee in small amounts at a time, and try to frequently. If not this I would try the Cat Attract or other Dr. Elsey's products to help attract your cat to her litter box. And if there were any major changes in her environment she may be stressed and I would try Comfort Zone, it comes in a spray and a wall plug-in. If none of these help, I would give your local pet store or vet a call an just get some quick advice. Hope this helps!
